Artist's Comments Bitter Author: *crimson-cat Rating: PG-13 Pairings: Alt Pair Warnings: Death, Rape, Tort They really mean it when they say ignorance is bliss. {The story of Miss Bitters} As far as originality goes, this gets high marks! I've never been interested in Miss Bitters's back-story before, nor have I ever thought it could be pulled off. But not only does crimson-cat keep the story flowing, she keeps it all in reference to the series for a relative timeline. And I'm such a sucker for keeping things in perspective! I watch the first episode's classroom scene with a renewed grin on my face, thanks to this fic. While the romantic portion of the story may seem a bit abrupt, it is to be expected; Miss Bitters is thirteen! But what really kept me interested in this work is crimson-cat leaves nothing to coincidence, and obviously puts some thought into the goings-on. "What type of name was that anyway? It was just a number. Not to mention Earth numbers for that matter. How was Earth so connected with the speech and customs of the intergalactic society when they weren't even registered? She sensed a conspiracy." Aand how I do love a conspiracy theory! This piece is still WIP, and, sadly, hasn't been updated in over a year. Maybe, with a bit of gentle prodding, this little baby will be up aand running again. It would warm my squeedly-spooch to no end! Review by  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
