Hello all. As many a passerby may have noticed, this Archive has been gathering dust for a year to the date. It was decided a while ago that though activity has ceased and will likely never resume, the collections of fanfictions along with their review shall remain up for the rest of DeviantART's life. There are many reasons for this, but primarily it is the loss of interest to those who ran it. A lot of hard work went into everything you see on these pages, and that should not go to waste. So please, wandering, fanfiction seeking friend, take a look around. You may yet find what you are looking for.

And as a final farewell, a part of this place goes to all of you! If you can think of a fanfiction that you feel others would like, please use this journal as your advertisement grounds. It would be helpful if you let others know exactly what it was you enjoyed about the story, but otherwise, the writing canvas is all yours.

What is the Invader Zim Archive?
The Invader Zim Archive was created as a place where people can easily find quality fanfiction based on Invader Zim. It is meant to make finding fics you personally will enjoy reading as easy as possible - no more wading through massive quantities of fics at Fanfiction.net just to find that particular type of story you're seeking.

What is the Fanfiction of the Week?
The idea of the Fanfiction of the Week has been replaced by the Deviation Reviews. Each of our Moderators has gone through their sections and reviewed each fic therin. These reviews are then taken and made into deviations for the club to display, and once enough of them have been submitted, we'll then choose one periodically and feature it as the club's feature deviation.

How do I Join?
To join as a reader, simply add the Invader Zim Archive to your watch list and you will be added as a member. Important! If you do not wish to be added to the member list, please send a note to the club with "Do not add me" in the subject line!

To join as an Author, please send a note to the club with "Join" in the subject line. One of our staff members will get together with you and create your unique author profile listing. Authors will be required to send us permission to archive their work - simply fill your name in on the permission form as follows when you send the note.:

"I, "username", hereby give my full permission to the Invader-Zim-Archive club to upload all my club related deviations on Deviantart"

We ask that both readers and authors please include a link back to the club in a journal on their own pages. Simply paste : iconInvader-Zim-Archive : or : devInvader-Zim-Archive : into your journal (minus the spaces)

What sort of fanfiction will the Archive Accept?
Just about anything. All fanfiction will be reviewed by our staff and comprehensive summaries will be included in the listing. We do accept adult fanfiction as well. However, there are a few instances in which we will refuse to accept fanfiction. They are:

1. If you submit a work of fiction which was not written by you or where written permission by the author cannot be obtained.


2. If the fanfiction contains material meant to be deliberately offensive to any person/group either here on dA or elsewhere.


3. If the fanfiction contains too many spelling/grammatical errors to be readable OR if the format has been messed up. We are prepared to offer some assistance if this is the case - remember, we WANT to be able to archive your fanfiction.

We will let you know if your submission is accepted and why it wasn't, if that was the case. There will be absolutely no exceptions to the first rule, but the other two may be taken up with our team to see if we can still archive your work.

How to Submit

1. First, make sure we have your permission (see How to Join).


2. NOTE: We only need your permission once. After that, everything’s ready to go


3. Then, we’ll need the links to the fic or fics, as well as your FF.net or AFF.net location, IF you have one.

After all that, this is the form that we would appreciate you sending us your fic info. If followed correctly, then things will be a great deal more easy for us to get this fanfiction properly organized for everyone’s reading pleasure.

I see art posted here. What's that all about?
That, my friends, is about fanart for certain fanfictions. Certain, meaning only the fanfics that we have hosted here on the archive. If you have art for a fic you would like to submit to us, please be sure that we have it hosted here on the archive. This is a way to help promote both the club and the fanfictions in general for the members (so they don't forget we exist and therefore defeat the purpose of the archive ^_^ )

To submit art:

1. You must be a member (easily done) And we must have your permission to store in the Credits


2. Please tell us what fic your art is for (we will dig up the rest of the info from our index)


3. Yes, you are allowed to submit art for a fanfic that is not your own ^_^ That is the point of fanart, after all!
